Our Story
The John Abdulai Jinapor Scholarship Program was launched as part of Hon. Jinapor’s commitment to empowering the youth of Ghana. Having witnessed the struggles of many bright students who could not advance due to financial challenges, Hon. Jinapor established this fund to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.
This program is more than just financial aid; it is a vision to create a level playing field where hard work and academic excellence are rewarded, regardless of one’s background.
About the Scholarship
The John Abdulai Jinapor Scholarship Program was established to provide financial aid to brilliant but needy students across Ghana. Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor, Minister for Energy and Green Transition and Member of Parliament for Yapei-Kusawgu, believes education is the key to breaking barriers and creating lasting change.
The scholarship is designed to:

Empower beneficiaries to contribute meaningfully to national development.
GHS 1 Million Fund
A dedicated fund of one million Ghana cedis has been allocated to support brilliant but needy tertiary students.
Equity and Inclusion
Special focus is placed on female students, rural applicants, and students with disabilities to ensure inclusive access to higher education.
200+ Students Annually
The program aims to assist over 200 students each academic year, depending on the level of financial support required per student.
Coverage Beyond Tuition
The scholarship goes beyond tuition fees, offering support for books, accommodation, and mentorship opportunities.

How to Join the Scholarship Program
